What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, a username, and any display name or avatar you choose to add. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and email you share with us through that provider.

Recipes, photos, and stories

The recipes, photos, and stories you add are stored in our database and private storage bucket. You control the visibility of each recipe: keep it private, share it with specific people, or publish it to the community archive.

Published recipes are visible to other signed-in members. Private recipes are only visible to you and anyone you explicitly invite.

How we use your data

We use your account information to authenticate you, send notifications about activity on your recipes, and keep the archive running. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as you choose to use The Recipes Heritage. You can delete recipes or archive them at any time. If you delete your account, your profile and associated content are removed.
